The template is generated at the end of the run rather than on the fly. It also offers the option of easier customisation.

could you please explain why HtmlTemplateOutput, XmlTemplateOutput are needed? what's a benefit in comparison with HtmlOutput, XmlOutput?

Could you please provide a json FTL template (jbehave-json-output.ftl) for the templateable output reporter? At the moment, json is only supported via the PrintStreamOutput reporter.

Please note that the lifecycle now supports multiple scopes ().
